Abstract
Objective
To explore the effect of extended nursing combined with traditional Chinese medicine nursing on gastrointestinal function and adverse reactions in patients with tumor chemotherapy.
Methods
A total of 100 tumor patients who received chemotherapy in the hospital from February 2016 to May 2018 were selected. According to the random number table method, they were divided into the study group and the control group, 50 patients in each group. The control group received routine nursing, and the research group received extended nursing combined with TCM nursing model.Gastrointestinal function and adverse reaction symptoms were compared between the two groups.
Results
The improvement of gastrointestinal function in the study group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05), and the incidence of gastrointestinal adverse reactions was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).
Conclusions
Extended nursing combined with traditional Chinese medicine nursing model can effectively improve gastrointestinal function and reduce the incidence of gastrointestinal adverse reactions in tumor patients undergoing chemotherapy.
