The goals of correlating the Brazilian popular with audiovisual culture result from these two crossed intuitions: a) we understand that the popular, when defined as an object, participates in the constitution of epistemological and artistic fields in the country, mediating them to some extent; b) the popular also becomes subsidies to the designations of the socio-technical audiovisual system in the country. Abstract
