The sample of participants included 49 senior Croatian female volleyball players (22.14±1.26 years). Varibales assessed were: Body height, Body mass, Age at Peak height velocity (PHV), Coefficient of variation in PHV, Prediction of adult height, and Variation in predicted adult height. T test was used to analyze the differences between active volleyball players and drop-outs, 8 years after the first measurement of anthropometric characteristics, with the level of significance set at p≤0.05. By using the Bland-Altman method, a plot of the differences between the measured body height and the lowest predicted body height was presented. The obtained results indicate that the predictive values of adult body height in active volleyball players are lower than the actual values, i.e., drop-outs have lower values of deviation from actual adult body height. 本研究的目的是利用Sherar等人的方法预测女排运动员的“成年”体高。研究对象为49名克罗地亚高级女排运动员(22.14±1.26岁)。评估的变量包括:身高、体重、峰值高度速度年龄(Age at Peak height velocity, PHV)、峰值高度速度变异系数(Coefficient of variation in PHV)、预测成人身高和预测成人身高变异。在第一次测量人体特征8年后,采用T检验分析现役排球运动员与退役排球运动员之间的差异,显著性水平设为p≤0.05。采用Bland-Altman方法,绘制了实测身高与最低预测身高的差值图。所得结果表明,现役排球运动员成人身高的预测值低于实际值,即退赛运动员与实际成人身高的偏差值较低。在四个应用变量中,积极和不积极的排球运动员/辍学者之间存在显著差异。
