Abstract
The introduction into circulation of voluntary associations of citizens and/or legal entities that do not aim to extract profit as the main one, entailed the need for the development of special legal regulation. The article discusses certain features of the legal status, state registration and amendments to the constituent documents, as well as information in the Unified State Register of Non-profit organizations.
