The Persistence of a Contested Concept: Reflections on Ten Years Constitutiona Identity in EU Law

Abstract

In this contribution I attempt to explain why so many fundamental controversies surrounding the provision on national identity have not been nearly resolved ten years after the entry into force of the Lisbon Treaty.
