Forty-six studies were selected and their data were categorizes and analyzed, using descriptive statistics, focusing on dependent and independent variables, behaviors and contents taught to parents or caregivers, teaching strategies and results. Most studies assess the effects of training packages on the behavior of children and parents or caregivers and combine natural, instructional and practical strategies to teach them modeling children’s behavior. Most researches describe the behaviors taught to parents or caregivers in an inaccurate way, not indicating in which contexts these behaviors should occur or the expected effects over children’s behavior.
