Abstract

Background

this paper reviews the results obtained from recent studies mentioning the crustal architecture in Cameroon. It also discusses the study of [1] “Estimation of Curie depth, geothermal gradient and near-surface heat flow from spectral analysis of aeromagnetic data in the Loum-Minta area (Centre-East Cameroon)”. The paper published by [1] is an application of the spectral method for the determination of Curie depths, followed by interpretations on the local thermal structure (thermal gradient, heat flux) of the crust.
