Posición fiscal, inversión publica y crecimiento económico. Una aplicación de regla fiscal para México

Abstract

Spending on public investment financed by debt is analyzed, considering the interaction between macroeconomic and fiscal variables to establish the intertemporal path of solvency and the conditions of fiscal compliance that determine a sustainable fiscal policy. Empirically, a response impulse function is proposed to analyze the dynamics situation of Mexican economy. The results show a positive response in the fiscal position resulting from the imposition of a fiscal rule of indebtedness to finance public investment, where the primary balance allows conditions of slack for the stimulation of economic activity.
