Abstract
Se propone un analisis exhaustivo del mito del ave Fenix en el pensamiento simbolico romano y su evolucion desde la tradicion griega hasta su redefinicion cristiana. Para ello, se prestara atencion a las principales fuentes textuales, iconograficas y epigraficas de epoca romana documentadas hasta el dia de hoy.
