Abstract
The mental health of school going adolescents is a matter of concern as it affects their overall functioning and also of the significant others. This paper is based on an extensive review of articles on the mental health problems of school-going adolescents published between 2008–2017. Based on the inclusion criteria, nine studies out of a total 40 identified studies, were reviewed extensively. The review revealed that there is a need for a broader national level research to determine the prevalence rate of mental health problems among school-going adolescents in India
