Abstract
ABSTRACT This paper provides an overview of the interpersonal classroom model (ICM). The ICM was designed primarily for social work group practice courses. This paper describes the theoretical foundation for the ICM, outlines how educators can employ the ICM, designates five group leadership skills that students will focus on when completing a weekly evaluation survey, and provides an example of the ICM applied to an undergraduate group practice course.
