This study presents the dielectric material-coated half-wave dipole antenna design and compares it with the conventional half-wave dipole antenna. The design includes a high dielectric material coating around the length of each conductor. The dipole length primarily determines the resonant frequency of a dipole antenna; therefore, it is difficult to tune small half-wave dipole antennas less than 50 cm at 300MHz. Abstract
