From 8-10 June 2023, two of the IABSE Outstanding Structure Award winners in China held their Plaque Unveiling Ceremonies that was attended by esteemed guests and local dignitaries. The President of IABSE, Tina Vejrum, travelled from Denmark for this special occasion and was joined by the Chair of the OStrA Committee, Naeem Hussain; past President of IABSE, Yaojun Ge; the Chinese National Group Chair, Vice-Chair and Secretary, Limin Sun, Dong Xu and Ye Xia; and the representatives of the respective winners. Abstract
The long-awaited Plaque Unveiling Ceremony for the 2020 and 2021 Outstanding Structure Award winners finally took place in China, after the Covid-19 lockdown and associated restrictions.
