Abstract
Thirty six moss species were recorded from Daqahlia province, Nile Delta. Weissia perligulata Flow. (Pottiaceae) was new record to Afr1. In addition, Hyophila involute (Hook.) Jaeg., (Pottiaceae), Ptychostomum arcticum (R. Brown) J. R. Spence ex Holyoak & N. Pederson and P. cyclophyllum (Schwagr) J. R. Spence (Bryaceae) were new records for Egypt. Fifteen species were new to Nile delta. This raised the number of identified moss taxa recorded from Egypt up to 192 taxa, from Nile delta 51 taxa and Daqahlia province 39 taxa. Data on the up-to-date classification, habitats, voucher specimens and distribution of the enumerated species and the descriptions of the new records including the photos have been provided.

在尼罗河三角洲的达卡利亚省记录了三十六种苔藓。佩里古拉塔流。(Pottiaceae)是Afr1的新记录。此外,Hyophila渐开线(Hook.)Jaeg。,(Pottiaceae)、Ptychostomum arcticum(R.Brown)J.R.Spence ex Holyoak&N.Pederson和P.cyclophyllum(Schwagr)J.R.Spence(Bryceae)是埃及的新记录。
Bangladesh is a humid, subtropical country favouring luxuriant growth of microorganisms, fungi and plants from algae to angiosperms with rich diversity. She has the largest mangrove forest of the world in addition to diverse hilly and wetland habitats. More than a century back, foreign explorers endeavoured several floral expeditions, but little was done for non-vasculars and pteridophytes. In recent times, Bangladesh National Herbarium has been carrying out taxonomic research in Bangladesh along with few other national institutes (e.g. Department of Botany of public universities and Bangladesh Forest Research Institute).
