Abstract

PEO-based polymer electrolytes are currently attracting widespread interest as the next-generation electrolytes for batteries that overcome the limitations of conventional liquid electrolytes. Despite this favorable feature, there are still several issues to be addressed for practical applications. In this context, this paper presents various strategies to overcome their intrinsic challenges in PEO-based solid-state polymer electrolyte.
