Abstract

The effect of gamma radiation on the photoelectrochemical response of thermally grownn-type iron oxide has been studied; a dose-dependent decrease in the photocurrent was found. The data, discussed in terms of the Ga¨rtner theory, enable one to evaluate the width of the space-charge layer and the diffusion length of the minority charge carriers as a function of dose.
