Abstract

The aim of this study was to provide a profile of the journal reading habits of midwives who are members of the Australian College of Midwives. There is no literature that could be found on this topic. A survey design research method was used and a questionnaire with 21 items was sent to a sample group of 281. The data was analysed using SPSS and the results are presented in four themes: demographic profile, extent of journal reading of members, satisfaction with the current ACMI Journal and the use of knoweldge from journal read to practice setting.
