Abstract
I am deeply honored to have been selected as the 2013 Distinguished Psychologist in Management by SPIM, and I again thank SPIM for allowing me the opportunity to share some thoughts about leadership with you – first at the annual meeting, and now in this version of that presentation for The Psychologist Manager Journal. These views will be shared with you through the vehicle of a recent leadership case in higher education that has been unusually public -the child sexual abuse scandal at the Pennsylvania State University.
