Abstract

SUMMARY Peripheral neuropathy, following total hip arthroplasty, has a reported incidence of 0.7%.1 However, delayed sciatic nerve palsy has only been reported twice in the literature.2,3 We report on two further cases, both of whom developed clinical sciatic nerve palsy at 72 hours after surgery.
