Abstract

Seventeen new records of larval hostplants are given for Ithomiinae butterflies (Lepidoptera: Nymphalidae) in southeastern Minas Gerais, and one in Brasilia, DF. At the present state of knowledge, generalizations about larval feeding habits of these insects may be premature.
