Abstract
: The use of biopolymers and platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) is currently investigated as an excellent application biomaterial in the tissue engineering field. Natural biomaterials with application potential in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine are due to their characteristics in biocompatibility, biodegradability, and mechanical characteristic. Though, the basic knowledge of three ‐ dimensional fibrin scaffold and chitosan/alginate processing technology combined with an understanding of the physical-chemical properties of this natural biomaterial is necessary for proper application in regenerative medicine and tissue engineering.
