The planting of the bacteria was carried out with the pour-plate method in nutrient agar medium. Abstract

One of the alternatives to antimicrobials in disease control is probiotic bacteria as microbial control agents. This research was carried out to obtain indegenous isolates of probiotic bacteria from digestive tract Cyprinus carpio. Selection criteria were appointed based on the capacity to produce the antibacterial compound against the pathogen and grow at pH 2.
