Abstract

In this article, we would like to discuss the issues of standardization of so-called big data. This term (concept) is used more and more in conjunction with many areas of human activity, which are often standardized (or being in the process of standardization) at both the national and international levels. Naturally, this raises the question of standardization of big data too. And this kind of work should, of course, begin with the fixation of, and what it is, and that it is subject to standardization. The paper provides an overview of standardization work in this field across the world, estimated efforts to standardize big data at national level and suggests areas for the development.
