Procedure and methods: The authors performed an empirical study on the example of the youth of the Moscow region (124 people) using the author’s questionnaire, SJO by D.A. Leontiev, MSF by A.A. Rean. Results: Correlation analysis showed that the components of life-orientation orientations are positively associated with the preference for more active forms of leisure, the predominance of positive emotions in connection with leisure activities, developing senses of leisure, orientation to socially useful leisure, and the motivation to achieve is positively associated with the significance of some obstacles to spending leisure time and denying forms of leisure that damage the individual and family.
