Abstract

High colour rendering bismuth vanadate (BiVO4) pigments were successfully synthesized by self-propagating combustion method at low temperature (200?C). Interestingly, the addition of citric acid as a fuel was beneficial to the formation of well-dispersed olive-like BiVO4 particles with the size around 730 nm.
