Abstract
A new species of the subgenus Endopodalius associated with agave weevil of the species Scyphophorus acupunctatus Gyllenhal (Coleoptera: Dryophthoridae) is described based on adult females from the southeast region of the Iberian Peninsula. This beetle, relative of the palm weevil, is an invasive exotic species already present in the Iberian Peninsula (Mediterranean region) as a new pest spreading among the agave plants.
