Network information technologies as a way of promoting ideas, knowledge and research results in the field of speech therapy

Abstract

The article deals with the problem of popularizing scientific knowledge in the field of speech therapy among the general public: parents of children with speech disorders, educators, teachers, psychologists and other interested parties. The use of the scientific and educational websites and the groups in social media is the most efficient way of informative and educational activities and increasing the level of awareness of parents of children with speech disorders. The authors share their experience in promoting science-based, reliable knowledge in the field of speech therapy through the website of the speech therapy department of the Moscow Pedagogical State University.
