Abstract
This article discusses one aspect of the poetics of Mikhail Sholokhov’s novel “And Quiet Flows the Don”. The originality of the poetics of the zoomorphic detail in this novel is revealed. The article discusses the most frequent bestial elements pertaining to the characters of Sholokhov’s novel.
