Ten subjects were given a questionnaire, regarding the symptoms experienced at the time of testing and impedance measures were conducted. Acoustic impedance values were higher in 80% of the affected ears when compared to the unaffected ears. Four of these values were more than double those in the unaffected ears and three were above normal limits. Therefore, increased endolymphatic pressure appears to be reflected in the test results.
