Abstract

An ideal right-angled pentagon in hyperbolic 4-space H 4 is a sequence of oriented geodesics ( L 1 ,...,L 5 ) such that L i intersects L i +1 , i = 1 ,..., 4, perpendicularly in H 4 and the initial point of L 1 coincides with the endpoint of L 5 in the boundary at infinity ∂ H 4 .
