Abstract

John Thomas Noonan, Jr. (1926) is a Senior Circuit Judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, with chambers in San Francisco, California. He is a graduate of Harvard University, Catholic University of America, and Harvard Law School. Prior to being appointed judge in 1985, he worked in private practice and was a professor of law at the University of Notre Dame Law School and the University of California, Berkeley.
