Abstract

Crushing of the rock mass of the excavation block is mainly influenced by macrocracking, which determines the divisibility of rocks into natural ones. The dimensions of the natural separations of the extraction block are determined by the values of the parameters of the macro crack systems. In practice, it is quite common to encounter conditions where natural individual extraction blocks satisfy processes in size in all sections of the pit-DSE process chain and only one or two layers with separations that need to be crushed.
