Abstract

A method for determining the height of the worked layer by a hydraulic excavator with a reverse shovel when working out low-power coal seams of inclined and steep fall is proposed. Schemes have been developed for mining coal seams of complex structure, which are presented in the form of a synclinal, anticlinal fold, using a hydraulic excavator reverse shovel with separation into layers. The dependence of the height of the worked layer on the angle of incidence and the power of the coal seam is established.
