Abstract

Currently, one of the important tasks of mining enterprises is the development of new ways to improve the energy efficiency of ventilation systems in underground mines. One of these measures is the introduction of ventilation schemes with partial reuse of outgoing air to ventilate subsequent work areas. The safety of the proposed measure can be substantiated by a comprehensive study of the properties of the potash array. One of these properties is the ability of sylvinite to actively absorb harmful gaseous impurities present in the outgoing air stream from the mine atmosphere. The paper presents the scientific substantiation of the sorption of gases by the potash massif, as well as a number of natural and laboratory studies.
