Abstract
Diffuse Idiopathic Neuroendocrine Cell Hyperplasia (DIPNECH) is a rare pulmonary disease. It was first described by Aguayo et al. in 1992, and recognised by the World Health Organisation in 2004 as a precursor lesion to the development of pulmonary carcinoid tumour. DIPNECH has been described in several isolated case reports and series.
