Abstract

80 soriasis is a chronic erythematosquamous dermatitis characterized by abnormal keratinocyte hyperproliferation, resulting in thickening of the epidermis and stratum corneum, which affects genetically predisposed individuals. Factors such as family history, stress, trauma, infections, medicines, lifestyle and immune disorders are the well-known predisposing factors and also increased epidermal inflammation, proliferation, angiogenesis, hyperkeratosis, parakeratosis and keratinocytes turn-over are the hallmarks for psoriasis.
