Methods: This descriptive study was conducted from the 1stoctuber of to the 1st of November 2022 and included 200 students aged between 18-26 years from the University of Mosul. Data were gathered by having students fill out a questionnaire in the classroom and doing an interview with them that included asking about their personal information. Results: The findings reveal that breakfast was an important meal during the day and accounted for 55% with a benefit of 90%. Sixty-eight percent students were feeling active, energized, and focused when eating breakfast, 59% knew the disadvantages of not eating breakfast and 57.5% felt hungry during working hours because they didn′t eat breakfast. The study found that 75% students drank tea or coffee with breakfast, 61.5% ate dairy products, 55% ate bread and pastries, and 46.5% ate eggs at breakfast.
