Abstract
Ruptured vertebral artery dissecting aneurysms (VADAs) comprise 3% to 7% of subarachnoid hemorrhages (SAHs) caused by cerebral aneurysms. Although ruptured VADAs have been treated with craniotomy with clipping or trapping, endovascular parent artery occlusion has become a first-line therapy.
