Maquiavelo y el arte de la diplomacia

Abstract

In this article the author analyze the most important ideas of Machiavelli on diplomacy, in order to demonstrate how he must be considered one of the most important precursors of the study and analysis of modern diplomacy. From his perspective, it was a parallel process or perhaps an integral part of the Renaissance, which, Machiavelli not only experienced in a vitally way but also professionally, and gave expression to this concept in some of his brief political writings and also relevant ideas and reflections in his greatest political works.
