Localization criteria for non-linear constitutive equations of geomaterials

Abstract

This paper is devoted to two specific aspects of shear band analysis for geomaterials, which are basically, non-standard materials. Problems arising from incremental non-linearity (multilinear or thoroughly non-linear models) and consequences of discontinuities of the constitutive equations with respect to loading parameters, are especially investigated.
