Abstract

In this paper, numerical and experimental studies are elaborated in order to study the dynamic behavior and frequency responses of structures at micro scale. The aim of the present paper is to investigate the effect of the thickness on frequency responses and mode shapes and to validate experimental results obtained by the laser vibrometer measurement with numerical simulation. Different sandwich structures, such as cantilever beam and membrane are elaborated for different thickness.
