Abstract
This paper examines the satellite industry and its subsectors as one of the key commodities transported on the sixth mode of transportation. This industry has a significant role in the commercial aerospace industry. We review the trends of the industry in the 21st century and provide a model for estimating the future economic state of the global satellite industry.
