Purpose : This study aims to determine whether there is a significant effect of using transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation to reduce pain. Research method : The research method uses an experimental method with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used is the nonprobability sampling approach by considering the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results: From the test results the Mann Whitney test shows that the Z value is -4, 722 with the Assimp value. Sig. As big as 0,000, which is smaller than 0.05. thus Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of the use of TENS on the pain threshold. Abstract
