This recent addition in anesthesia armamentarium has a great role in procedural sedation and general anesthesia which is well-approved. The main beauty of this drug is, if needed its effects can be reversed by flumazenil which allows prompt termination of sedation. Remimizolam has fast predictive effect and recovery time, high procedural success rate, and minor respiratory and hemodynamic fluctuation when used for procedural sedation and general anesthesia. Abstract
