Abstract
This contribution presents a much-needed overview of Netherlandish workshop activities in Rome, and a reevaluation of their impact on the cultural environment of the city. Not only is there more information about how their workshops functioned, but also these artists exemplify the status and professional activities of many Netherlandish artists in the city.
