Formation of university students’ moral consciousness in the context of modern transformations of Ukrainian society

The authors prove the relevance of the outlined problem that is determined by the main contradictions of our time. The researchers reveal the essence of the phenomenon of “morality” as an evaluative and imperative way of mastering reality, which regulates human behavior in the concept of “the good and evil” and as a way of spiritual self-determination of a person; “moral consciousness” as a medium of reflection the main principles and norms of morality in human minds that regulate the human relationship as well as their attitude to society, from the standpoint of internalization of public moral concepts and values, cognitive and evolutionary concept and activity approach. It is identified a four-component structure of moral consciousness (cognitive, worldview, emotional and behavioral components) that based on the individual’s activity in various activities. It is emphasized that all structural components of moral consciousness work as one. The issues of the formation of university students’ moral consciousness are characterized, including such as the peculiarities of the situation of age development, the leading type of activity and the social situation in modern Ukrainian society, which poses a number of difficult choices and moral tests for nowadays young people. The qualities of students’ mature moral consciousness at the present stage are defined. Among them are: communication skills, management of their own behavior, skills of making responsible decisions, high level of consciousness, ability to navigate in difficult life circumstances. Abstract

本文致力于在当前乌克兰军事侵略背景下高校学生道德意识形成的理论方面的研究。作者证明了所概述的问题的相关性,这是由我们时代的主要矛盾决定的。揭示了“道德”现象的本质是作为一种对现实的评价性和命令性的把握方式,以“善恶”的观念规范人的行为,作为人的精神自决方式;以“道德意识”为媒介,从公共道德观念和价值观内化、认知进化观和活动观的角度,反映了人类思想中规范人际关系和社会态度的主要道德原则和规范。基于个体在各种活动中的活动,确定了道德意识的四成分结构(认知、世界观、情感和行为成分)。强调道德意识的所有结构组成部分是一体的。大学生道德意识的形成问题具有鲜明的特点,包括时代发展形势、主导活动类型和现代乌克兰社会形势的特殊性,这给当代青年提出了许多艰难的选择和道德考验。界定了现阶段学生成熟道德意识的素质。其中包括:沟通技巧,管理自己的行为,做出负责任的决定的技能,高水平的意识,在困难的生活环境中导航的能力。展望了高校学生道德意识形成的有效教学条件的探索和理论实证方面的进一步研究。
