Abstract
The effect of grain boundary edges and facets on mobility of individual grain tilt boundaries [1120] and [1010] in zinc of different purity at different temperatures has experimentally been studied. It was established that in the temperature range (0.82—0.98) Тm, where Тm is the melting temperature, the grain boundary mobility was equally depended on temperature, boundary structure, material purity, and grain boundary features.
