Abstract

In this paper, the systematic approach is used to model the probabilistic characteristics of life expectancy. The article is devoted to modeling of such probabilistic characteristics as death curve, survival function and mortality rate. In the article, the data on the mortality tables of the population of Russia for the calendar year 2018 are approximated with some special functions. The quality of models fitting was tested using the coefficient of determination.
