Abstract
Intramedullary nailing surgery using a cannulated cancellous screw was performed in 5 patients with fractures of the middle third of the clavicle.Excellent synostosis was observed in every patient, without malunion of the bone. The patients started excursion training in the early phase of recovery, and gained excellent excursion field. It was thought that intramedullary nailing surgery using Cannulated cancellous screws could become a promising therapy in the future for patients with fractures of the middle third of the clavicle.
