Abstract

The use of semantic information necessitates a quantitative assessment of the information in general. This article will provide an overview and analysis of the present state of semantic information measurement as methods and algorithms for semantic data reduction. We propose an algorithm combining initial information classification, knowledge enrichment through keywords, identification of potential semantic correlations between them, and semantic information extraction.
